Today is Wednesday, November 6th, and these are the top stories making headlines halfway through the week:

  • President Donald Trump defeated Vice President Kamala Harris to regain the White House. In his victory speech, Trump said he will finish what he started 8 years ago and usher the nation into a new “Bronzer Age.”

  • Folks in Massachusetts were stuck in traffic Monday morning when port-a-potties fell off the back of a truck. Even after the clean-up, the smell still lingered — giving Massachusetts residents a chance to experience what it’s like to commute in New Jersey.

  • A Pentagon audit showed that Boeing overcharged the Air Force by nearly $1 million for spare parts — Or as they’re called at Boeing — doors.

  • According to data sourced from the Micronutrient Information Center at Oregon State University, most Americans do not get enough calcium or Vitamin D from their diet. On the bright side, the data reports no shortage of things “flavor blasted.”

  • Canned water brand Liquid Death partnered with OpenFortune on a series of “Misfortune Cookies” at Chinese restaurants in New York and Los Angeles — delivering unsettling predictions, such as, “Your confidence will soon lead you on a journey... down a dark alleyway,” or, “You will live a long, happy life. No wait. Sorry. That was for the person across from you,” and worst of all, “When needed most, toilet paper, you will not find.”
