Today is Wednesday, March 26th, and these are the top stories making headlines halfway through the week:

  • The USDA has recalled nearly 30,000 pounds of Chomps Beef Sticks after pieces of metal were found inside. The finding has triggered USDA inspections across the beef stick industry, except for Slim Jim, which remains under “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.”

  • According to a recent announcement, a sequel to the animated film “Coco" is in the works at Disney, with a release date set for 2029. It wasn’t easy coming up with a storyline for the film, but after nearly a decade since the original’s smash success, they say they’ve finally figured out how to ruin it.

  • StubHub filed for an initial public offering this week. Early stock investors hope to make their money back on resale.

  • March Madness enters the Sweet 16 on Thursday. Casual viewers say the Sweet 16 is where they start to get interested — making it the one thing they have in common with Matt Gaetz.

  • DoorDash and financial services company Klarna announced they’re launching an eat-now-pay-later plan. The deal took a while to finalize because they had to first secure the rights to “eat-now-pay-later” which belonged to Chipotle.
