Today is Wednesday, July 24th, and these are the top stories making headlines halfway through the week:

  • A new Reuters/Ipsos poll finds Vice President Harris leading former President Trump 44% to 42%. Top democrats believe Harris can carry this lead all the way to the election as long as she doesn’t do or say anything.

  • To beat the summer heat, zoos in hot weather states are feeding their animals with treats frozen in blocks of ice — sources with intimate knowledge say it’s the same technique used by the Trump campaign to feed Eric.

  • A series of sketches drawn by Michael Jackson will be auctioned on August 3rd. And this is fun, if a bidder meets or exceeds the $1 million opening bid for the complete 78 sketch set, the auction house said they’ll throw in Jackson’s neon Boys Boys Boys sign.

  • According to a new study, the ideal poop schedule for your long-term health involves bowel movements 1x or 2x per day. The outliers of the study were politicians — who the team said went an average of 4x per day but were still full of shit.

  • The NFL Players Association and the NFL have had discussions at a "very high level" over potentially adding an 18th regular-season game to the schedule. The Players Association is worried adding another game to the schedule may lead to more injuries including irreversible brain damage. In response, team owners collectively put out this statement:
