Today is Wednesday, July 10th, and these are the top stories making headlines halfway through the week:
During his one-on-one interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, President Biden said the only situation in which he would step aside is if the Lord Almighty came down and told him to. But top Democrats are hopeful that with Biden’s age and the right time of night, they might be able to get away with sending Bruce Almighty.
Monday was the annual running of the bulls in Pamplona, Spain. As always for participants, the running of the bulls was accompanied by the shitting of the pants.
A sequel to The Devil Wears Prada is in the works at Disney. Rumor has it the film may star the original cast. After nearly 20 years since its original release, Meryl Streep’s character, Miranda Priestley, would be in her mid-to late-seventies. Which is why the working title for the film is “The Devil Feels a Draft.”
The first crew to have lived inside the simulated Mars habitat at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas, for over a year, have now exited the simulation. The 3D-printed habitat, spanning 1,700 square feet, simulated the conditions and challenges of the red planet, including harvesting vegetables, conducting "Marswalks,” and battling the tremendous psychological challenge of prolonged isolation. Upon their exit, the team was debriefed by NASA on their experience then brought up to speed on what’s happened in the news over the last year. It was at this point, that they all silently got up, walked back into the Mars habitat, and locked the door.

In a statement following the reversal, a Tractor Supply spokesperson said the company has recognized the error of its ways, and now fervently stands behind the belief that plowing is between a man and his hoe.

But, for tens of millions of Americans, Flyover Country is a badge of honor—it is for us too. We know firsthand that people in Flyover Country are good, traditional Americans—populists at heart, anti-elitists who love their country.
We also know that everyday Americans in Flyover Country are avid news readers. They want to consume relevant content, rather than being subjected to corporate media bias. People don’t need their news to come with political agendas; they just need the news. That’s why we’re here…
